Hello, Guests!
Welcome to GosuGamers!
We are thrilled to announce that the Chinese government has recently shown significant support for Esports in China. Notably, Dota 2 was featured prominently last week on Xinwen Lianbo - one of China's major news channels - and it could potentially be the focus of an upcoming tournament hosted by the Administration of Sports.
The Chinese administration plans to host a nationwide Esports competition that will commence with online qualifiers by the of June and culminate in offline finals. Moreover, a brand-new league is also scheduled for launch next year. Although specific detls are yet to be revealed, these tournaments promise an exhilarating gaming experience.
The most exciting piece of news from this announcement is that the tournament will be broadcasted across all digital platforms including live television coverage. Additionally, there are plans to negotiate with China's official Administration of Sports for selecting a national team.
In conjunction with this, Xinwen Lianbo pd special attention to Dota 2 during their recent feature on Esports and even played the Chinese version of the game, showcasing its appeal and popularity among viewers.
It remns to be seen if other Esports titles like League of Legs and StarCraft II will also benefit from this initiative. However, Dota 2 might attract more attention as it was the only title named specifically in these reports.
GosuGamers is committed to bringing you further detls directly from Gamefy once they are avlable.
